I combine my education and years of experience in architecture, landscape design and orgnics to help people start their home, or community gardens. Currently I'm creating a 400 SF super food garden with raised beds, grow towers, in a geometric pattern that works with the sun's path. I'm using fruit trees to provide afternoon shade. This is necessary in the arid, hot Southwest. The garden will grow abundant food year-round for a family of three. It is tailiored to their lifestyle ( Mostly vegeterian). Early plantings exploded with crops. The family did not know what to do with so much food. Now I assist them to expand it, schedule planting, and harvesting to avoid loses due to overproduction. We've developed a menu. Our design is a growing menu garden. They choose what they want in season. We are printing the year's menu to match the growing menu garden. This helps both the husband and wife select what they will eat and cook for the day. I'm helping them package their favorite crops for freezing. This is a source for smoothies, soups, and stir frying. I meet with them once a month for the first year to guide them with their food planning. We also keep a journal and we weigh what is produced. This helps us compare store bought vs. home grown costs . Yummy!

Is there a conference this year where we can all meet? If not, I would be willing to organize one.
